A Life Worth Living is an experimental theatre experience exploring the
lives of Nevadans living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Told in a series of
vignettes, personal stories of loss, hope, and love, are dramatized to shed
light on the taboo subject of a viral disease that continues to marginalize
a growing population of human beings. The voices of men, women & children of
all races, creeds & socio-economic status are presented here in a powerfully
poignant performance as the culmination of a collaborative, therapeutic
process, which was made possible by A Rainbow Place, northern Nevada’s Gay,
Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center and presented at First
United Methodist Church.
